Roles & Responsibilities -To provide a visual presence and deter anti-social behaviour. -To log all incidents within the DOB so management can collate incident stats. -Fully conversant with the content of the Assignment Instructions & layout of the building. -Prevent any threat to any customer or staff. -Ensuring that all personnel are able to go about their business in a safe and friendly environment -Uphold prestige of the client by dealing professionally with people and uphold the client/companies’ image & reputation by maintaining a first class appearance. -Prevent the events that lead to accidents/personal injury by reporting health & safety hazards to the manager -Monitor and respond to the fire alarm panel and disabled toilet alarms. -Check all fire routes & fire doors to ensure they are clear from damage, trip hazards or obstructions -Build a good working relationship with on-site staff and liaise with on a daily basis to ensure the service being provided is to an excellent standard. Essential Criteria: -SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required -Must have experience dealing with and resolving confrontational situations -Must have experience of dealing with vulnerable people and the ability to show empathy -Must be confident in managing conflict -Excellent communication both written & verbal -Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site -Deterring anti-social behaviour -Provide a visible security contact for customers and staff -To be vigilant at all times -The ability to and think on your feet -First Aid qualification is a bonus
